Rodney Caldwell - AKA DJ Rod1 - is an LA native who has been spinning for 25 years.

DJ/MC, Break Dancer, & Clothing Designer

Respected and known in the hip-hop community, Rod1 has worked alongside artists such as Mobb Deep, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Dr Dre, and Snoop Dogg. He has also toured on the Anger Management Tour, Vans Summer Warped Tour, World of Dance, and Rock the Bells. Rod1 was featured on DJ City and Dance Mogul Magazine as a featured artist. His previous residencies include The Standard LA and HOllywood and Ultra Lounge Long Beach.
Rod1 has also shared the stage with artists DJ Jazzy Jeff, Chris Karns, DJ Scratch, Diplo, DJ Q-Bert, and Just Blaze.
In 2011, Rod1 had the honor of being the featured DJ for the annual Pink Party for Long Beach Pride Weekend. In 2012, he was chosen to spin at the annual BET Weekend Kick-off Party hosted by P-Diddy.
During his career, Rod1 has build strong working relationships with brands such as Pioneer DJ, Rane, HUGO BOSS, Calvin Klein, and Nintendo America.
His open format, anything goes, party rocking style has allowed him to travel and rock crowds all over the world.
