Q. How Much Do You Charge?

A. Each event is different and unique. For example, wedding receptions and ceremonies are much different than private corporate parties. We have a wide range of prices which match the entertainment package we create for your event. You can find many resources on our site to help you determine your pricing. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to contact us to setup a quick call. Our quotes are free and carry no obligation.

Q. How Much Should I Budget For My DJ?

A. You will hear from many vendors that you shouldn’t skimp on their services. It couldn’t be more true in the case of DJ entertainment, considering that your DJ entertainment will bear most of the responsibility (over 80%, in most cases) of making your event a success. It’s quite clear that choosing a PROFESSIONAL DJ is the wisest choice. You have already committed many hours to making your event look like a million bucks – no easy feat give all the moving parts. You won’t want to cut corners on the most important element – the element that will make your event truly unforgettable and fun. Professional rates for DJ Entertainment typically range from $700 to $4,000. The average professional rate is around $1,200 – $1,400. You may be able to find less-experienced or part-time DJ’s who charge less, but it is unwise to take any chances with such an important event. Skill, experience, and top-notch equipment make all the difference in the world.

Q. Will You Hold My Date?

A. In the DJ industry, our dates are our “inventory” and therefore cannot be held without a contract and retainer. Even if you need time to decide which package suits you, simply call to request a retainer contract. A small retainer of as low as $100 will hold your date. It is most important that you secure your date with us first, then we can work together to design a package right for you. We accept Visa, MasterCard Discover, American Express, cashier’s check, personal checks, and Paypal for your retainer payment.

Q. Will you be on time for my reception?

A. Yes. In fact, we will be early. We make all the arrangements for our arrival with your venue and will arrive approximately one-and-a-half or two hours early to set up (or longer, depending on the equipment needed). Our equipment and microphones are then tested and tuned to the room so your first guest hears perfection.

Q. What kind of equipment do you use?

A. As a full-time professional DJ company, we only use the most reliable, professional and state-of-the-art equipment. Although our talent, expertise, and musical abilities come first, our sound and lighting systems are the tools of our trade. When our name, reputation and mission to deliver the best entertainment experience for you are on the line, we count on our tools to deliver amazing sights and sound trouble-free. With the latest technology and backup gear built in and on site, you are guaranteed a fantastic reception worry-free.

Q. What kind of music do you have? Do you have a music list?

A. Noteworthy DJs has the best music on the planet. At the time of this written, our song library contains more than 100,000  selections guaranteeing that we will have all of your favorite songs and requests. We also have all of your favorite party classics, and tunes from every era including Big Band, Motown, Disco, New Wave 80’s, Classic Rock n’ Roll, Alternative Rock, Top 40, R n’ B, Urban, Hip-Hop, Dance, Club Music, Techno, Old School, Funk, and more! If you’re looking for a suggestion list, it is more practical that we send you a list of the “most requested” music, along with a suggested song list for traditional dances. Also keep in mind, there is only time to hear around 15-20 songs per party hour. As a result, you can expect to hear a total of 60 – 80 songs for a four hour event.

Q. Can I provide you with a specific playlist? 

A. You bet! You can be as specific or as general as you’d like. We have several tools you can use to help plan you event and communicate all the relevant details.

Q. How will we plan for my event? 

A. Once we reserve a day, we will create an account for you giving you access to several helpful planning tools including an event highlights form, event timeline form, a searchable song database and more. You can make updates periodically and save as you go. Planning couldn’t be easier.

Q. Who will be my DJ? 

A. Your DJ is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability. Once we have the paperwork and deposit in order, we will connect you with your DJ to start the planning process.

Q. Can I meet my DJ prior to signing? 

A. Yes – in most cases. Again, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed until we have a signed performance agreement and a deposit on account.

Q. Can I request a specific DJ and/or MC?

A. Absolutely. If you have seen one of our DJs perform or have a preference, it is best to have that DJ at your event.
